Come as you are! All are welcome!!

“And he said, ‘Come in, O blessed of the Lord! Why do you stand outside? For I have prepared the house, and a place for your camels.”Genesis 24:31

Wondering what to expect? You can be assured that there won’t be camels, except for at Missa Gaia maybe, but you will discover other interesting things for certain! Here are answers to frequently asked questions. If you have any questions that aren’t answered below, please email your question to our Pastoral Team by clicking here.

Our summer service times June through August are:
8:00 a.m. – Quite Holy Eucharist (no music)

Note: During our summer schedule we do have one special service called Worship in the Park. The service starts at 10:00 a.m. and takes place at Lake Boren Park on the eighth Sunday after Pentecost (usually mid to late July) with a picnic that follows. We would love to see you there!

A friendly person will greet you at the door and an usher will give you a service leaflet containing everything you need to understand and participate in the service.

The worship service will include inspiring music, beautiful prayers, Bible readings, a thought-provoking sermon, and Holy Eucharist (Communion).

The service will last about an hour, maybe a little more.  After the service, feel free to join in coffee and conversation or take a tour of the church.

In between the 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services, you will also have the option of attending The 10:10 Adult Education or you can observe children’s activities.

When you are ready to head for home, you will feel warmly welcomed and spiritually refreshed.

Absolutely! If there is a topic you find compelling, we welcome you to join us! You can find a listing of what’s happening at St. Margaret’s on our calendar, or you can visit our Meetup page and RSVP! If you’re interested in other education services, visit our Adult Education page for more details.

Worship at St. Margaret’s is liturgical and sacramental.  That means our worship service follows a pattern based in ancient and beautiful traditions, the people participate in the prayers, and we celebrate Holy Eucharist (Communion) every Sunday.

A Sunday worship service also includes beautiful and joyful music, Bible readings, and a thought-provoking sermon.

We like musical variety at St. Margaret’s:  If you prefer inspiring traditional hymns with choir and organ, come to the 11:00 a.m. service.  If you prefer an upbeat contemporary band, come to the 8:45 a.m. service.  If you prefer a quiet, intimate service with no music, come at 7:15 a.m.

All worship services at St. Margaret’s are beautiful and friendly.

We love kids at St. Margaret’s!  Children are welcome to stay with their parents during the service, or they may participate in other options:  For children age 3 and under, free childcare is available in the Nursery.  Children age 3 and older may go to the chapel during the sermon for “Joyful Noise”, a fun time for kid’s music, prayer and Bible stories.  In between the 8:45 am and 11 am services, fun educational activities are provided for children and youth.

All Christians are welcome to participate in Communion.

There is no dress code.  Come as you are.
