Pastoral Care & Support
Three times Jesus asked Peter, "Peter do you love me?" Each time Peter answered, "Yes, Lord, I love you." Jesus answered, "Then feed my sheep; tend my lambs." Feeding Jesus' sheep, tending Jesus' lambs, caring for and supporting those who are lost, suffering, or new to the fold -- this is the mission of Pastoral Ministry at St. Margaret's. Here compassion and commitment are sustained by love for God and faith in God's promise to bring new and everlasting life out of suffering and death. Serving in ministries of prayer, care, and support, the people of St. Margaret's are called, gifted, and trained to be the healing hands of Christ by extending God's love and care to the bereaved, the chronically ill, the elderly, the unemployed, the stranger, and all others who come to us in any kind of need.
