About the Thrift Shop

The Thrift Shop is located on the north side of the church parking lot. Members of St. Margaret's operate the shop and distribute the proceeds to non-profit organizations. We have given away more than $1 million to date -- and we're going strong!

Requesting a Grant
The Thrift Shop Board of Directors approves a disbursement of funds at their January and June meetings. Grants are made to a wide variety of non-profit community organizations with local, national and international missions. If you would like to request funding for an organization, please contact Sharon Nye, at the Thrift Shop.

Thrift Shop Donations
We accept almost anything except large appliances. All donations must be clean and in usable condition. Please do not leave donations at the door when the shop is closed.

Volunteering at the Shop
There are many opportunities for volunteering at the shop. Whether you are "crafty," like to work behind the scenes or enjoy working with people, there is a place for you. High school students are welcome and and their hours may be eligible for community service credit. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Sharon Nye, Thrift Shop manager.
