Donation Attendant Job

St. Margaret’s Thrift Shop, a store that sells donated clothing, accessories, and household goods, seeks applicants for the two part time positions of Donation Attendants. We are looking for two individuals who enjoys thrift shops, have a passion for customer and community service, and can work with a team of mostly volunteer staff.

The Mission of St. Margaret’s Thrift Shop is to support St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, Bellevue, WA, by being the primary means of generating financial resources for the church’s Outreach Ministry. We accomplish the mission while acting as responsible stewards through the donation and recycling of donated items. It is critical to performing the mission that we provide fellowship and care to those that volunteer at the Thrift Shop, as well as exemplary customer service.

The Donation Attendant is responsible for the receipt and transferring of donated merchandise.  Receives donated goods, sorts, and transports items to the sales floor or lower level of the shop for pricing, recycling or donation.  Assists Thrift Shop Manager in maintaining the inventory of goods for sale.  Works cooperatively with volunteer staff.
